The Bohart Museum of entomology is a research collection, but we welcome visitors. It is free for individuals and families to walk-in and explore during select hours. If you are a group (eg scout, class, camp or homeschool) please pre-arrange a fee-based tour. If you are a UC Davis class, group, lab or club, fees are waived, but please make advance arrangements with us as well.
Hours for the public to visit:
Starting September 24: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1:00-4:30 pm
Over the 2024-2025 Academic school year, Mondays and Fridays are reserved for research. Tuesday mornings, Wednesday mornings and all day Thursday are reserved for pre-arranged outreach programs. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, walk-in visitors are welcome to visit between 1:00-4:30 pm.
Weekends: Closed, except for weekend open houses.
